Todd Schulte
President
Todd Schulte is the President of FWD.us and the FWD.us Education Fund. Todd has been with FWD.us since its founding in 2013. His work has encompassed criminal justice and immigration work, focused on congressional and federal administrative policy, state policy campaigns, ballot initiatives, high-profile court cases and large-scale public relationships campaigns. Along with Executive Director Zoë Towns, he currently spends his time working to set the direction of the organization.
Todd has engaged in electoral and policy campaigns and work at nearly all levels of government and politics. Prior to joining FWD.us, Todd served as Chief of Staff at Priorities USA Action, the Super PAC that supported President Obama’s reelection, and, from 2009-2010, served as Chief of Staff for Congressman Scott Murphy (NY-20). Starting in 2005, Todd spent two election cycles at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, where he helped Democrats regain and expand their majority in the House of Representatives in 2006 and 2008. In addition to immigration and criminal justice policy, Todd’s policy background includes work on healthcare and financial regulatory reform. Todd lives in Washington, DC, with his wife Lindsey, daughters Sylvia and Serena, and two labs, Pippa and Penny.
